Paradise Bird Vintage Fabric

This fabric is a vintage G P & J Baker design titled "Paradise Bird," originally produced in the late 1970s  this piece is specifically dated to 1979 on the selvedge.

G P & J Baker is a prestigious British textile house founded in 1884, known for its extensive archive of botanical and oriental-inspired prints.

• Aesthetic: "Paradise Bird" is a stylized, oriental-inspired pattern featuring exotic birds (pheasants/birds of paradise), flowers, foliage, and butterflies. It is part of the brand's tradition of adapting archival patterns for contemporary home interiors.

This fabric came from a recent house visit it’s been treasured for 56 years 

Its in remarkable condition and enough to cover a chair etc
