Leslie Lucks 80’s Dress

All the energy of power dressing with big shoulders, nipped in waist and a peplum made this dress outstanding.

Beautifully made as they were back then with covered buttons a bow accent on the back.

The shoulders are generous a row of pleated adds volume on the outside and plenty of shoulder padding on the inside give structure.

Ive left the padding in but it can easily be removed in two steps by unpicking or trimming.

What really sets this dress apart is the dark denim cotton it is made from, this calms the style down as these dresses are usually in shiny fabric.

For the fit the skirt is straight it’s an American dress size 10 so a large 11/ 12  pay attention to the waist as it’s very structured there’s more give in the hips and shoulders in width .
Just another fit hint this will look best on someone tall 5’ 5 and above to do this dress justice otherwise it will swamp you.
